About the Artist‍

Hookz, a London-born and raised emerging artist, created all the artworks in the linked marketplace. She officially launched her art career in October 2023 via (new to her) OpenSea and her print on demand art business in February 2024. Using the tools at her disposal, Hookz began her digital art practice with just her index finger and her phone, creating beautiful, spiritual and thought-provoking pieces flowing from the depths of her subconscious. The works speak to healing, self-connection, exploring the interconnectedness between ourselves, each other and the universe, and the empowerment that comes with claiming one’s fullness, in the hopes that the pieces will inspire the viewer to further understand themselves.

The Piece Intent was inspired by the Japanese practice of Kintsugi, applying the aspect of repairing brokenness with gold to one’s heart. Through patience, introspection, love, and kindness, one can make the heart whole. We heal the pain of the past, acknowledging it but never forgetting, leaving wisdom, strength, and beauty in its wake. Intent is a one-off, limited edition nft available at HKZGENESISMINT on OpenSea. It is a part of a limited print collection available in the HKZ Genesis Ltd online shop.
